Preparing for Barafu Camp

When visiting Barafu Camp, it’s important to be prepared. This means ensuring the proper equipment and gear is brought along. A sleeping bag with a low comfort rating, as well as quality shoes, and plenty of clothes to keep warm, are all necessities. Additionally, rope and crampons may also come in handy, depending on the trail chosen. 

The Trail to Barafu Camp

The trail up to Barafu Camp is renowned for its unparalleled views. While much part of the path is relatively flat, the hike does become steep in sections as the mountain is climbed.
