Tittle : The entire experience was superb.

My husband and I spent a spectacular 8 days on safari with Peter Mbwana from Tanzania Safaris! Peter is a fantastic guide who took us on an adventure of a lifetime! We explored Arusha National Park, the Northern and Central Serengeti Parks including the Seronera Region, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park where the wildlife was magnificent! Our experiences were incredible as we saw a lion and lioness and the rhinoceros' mating; baboons trying to distract a leopard so they could take the cub; a crocodile eating its' kill; an injured hippo, the "Big Five" to include the Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and the Rhinoceros. And if that wasn't enough, we were front and center to the migration of thousands of wildebeests and zebra crossing the Maya River into Kenya! I can't even count how many animals and birds we saw and all because of our expert driver and guide, Peter! If you are looking for a truly informational and thoughtful guide, Peter is the one for you!

Great company, well organized trip.

We had an amazing five-day safari with Tanzania Safaris. We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Spent a week on Safari with a few friends and it delivered on every point. The tour guide Emmanual was very knowledgeable and super friendly, we learned so much from him! The safari itself is delivered every day with every activity. The accommodations are elite and some are once in a lifetime experiences! I will never forget this experience and it was all thanks to Tanzania Safaris!

My husband and I booked the 8 day safari because the reviews I had read gave me the confidence to trust them. From the time we were greeted at the airport by the Tanzania Safaris driver, Vitalis, we were very well taken care of.
We met with the tour operator representative at the hotel including our safari guide, Emmanuel.
My husband had apprehensions because it’s his personality but me on the other hand, I’m an adventurous soul. I’ve traveled solo, medical missions etc.
Tanzania Safaris didn’t skip a beat. All accommodations were perfect. We were safe, well fed, on schedule every day. Emmanuel is a warm, caring, respectful, thoughtful, experienced and extremely knowledgeable guide. We three bonded. My husband became relaxed and at ease. We both loved every kilometer we traveled.
I miss Emmanuel. I am left with the longing to return. I just have to gently persuade my husband that’s because the flight from Texas is of course very long.

This was my first ever safari experience and I chose “Tanzania Safaris” for this incredible Journey. I have researched a number of safari companies, then Tanzania Safaris caught my attention because it had the best reviews. I closely worked with Vummy (Sales Consultant) on the planning of our safari and we found that they are the most flexible in terms of customizing our itinerary, which was most important to us. Vummy helped me really hard to get our e-Visa from Tanzania Embassy. She was very helpful from start to finish, she even called and come to meet us on our drive back to the airport on our final day to ensure everything was okay.

I am very happy that we saw all of the "Big Five" in a very short safari tour and its only because of Peter, our driver/guide. He was very cool, calm and attentive person, he was so professional, punctual and knowledgeable, he had thirty years of experience in the same field. He navigated us round all the national parks, across the Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater without a map.
We landed at Kilimanjaro airport, then visited lake Duluti, lake Manyara national park , Serengeti , Masai village and Ngorongoro crater before flying to Zanzibar. Our hotels which were booked and managed by Tanzania Safaris were:
1. Lake Duluti Lodge Arusha
2. Manyara Escarpment Luxury Lodge
3. Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti
4. The Manor at Ngorongoro
Everything was extremely organised. Lunchboxes were provided maximising our time on safari. All the logistics, flight tickets, transfers, hotel vouchers, safari passes were taken care by our driver Peter. The safari itself was excellent. All the national parks are rich in wildlife and scenery.

My husband and I had a wonderful and memorable experience and had an amazing 10th anniversary that we will always cherish and treasure in our minds and hearts. Tanzania Safaris made our holiday perfect.

If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, you should definitely contact Tanzania Safaris. They will give you top-notch service from start to finish, and will offer you great quality services at good prices. I contacted them with questions multiple times by email and they readily responded all of them and were willing to customize our trip based on our time and interests. Special thanks to our driver, Comfort, who was very polite, friendly, professional and, of course, a very good driver.

Tanzania Safaris is outstanding and we highly recommend them for multiple reasons. The communication during the planning phase was prompt, thorough, and very helpful in customizing our itinerary and lodging. The lodging they suggested that we selected was amazing. Their customer service was fantastic which included Irene and our safari guide, Anthony, meeting us at our hotel the day prior to our safari commencing to review the itinerary and answer any questions we had. Our safari guide, Anthony, was wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was patient and so kind and always accommodated our requests. Anthony is a very knowledgeable guide – especially with bird species. He was always on-time and was a very safe and considerate driver.

From the moment my wife and I arrived in Nairobi to the moment we left, Tanzania Safaris was there. Even though the first day of activities was the 6th, we arrived on the 3rd so we would have some down time after travelling. Didn’t matter, they were there for us from the moment we arrived at the airport, and we stayed in Nairobi an extra day, but they still saw us off at the airport.
The concierge service and safari director make sure you are always kept informed of what happens next and when. You are always accompanied from airport to airport, and at every hotel/lodge. Our safari guides and drivers always seemed to know just where we should be at the right time for the best experience.
We experienced the Great Migration (practically run over by it - is more like it), Elephants in droves, tons of Giraffes, Lions and Cheetahs, Hippos - in and out of the water, herds of every type of antelope, and so much more…all so close! Every day we seemed to say “It can’t get better than this”…and then it did! The whole experience could not have been better.
The Tanzania Safaris staff was always clearly concerned about the quality of our experience as well as our comfort and enjoyment. Loved the personal touches. We experienced a couple of personal issues that were beyond the scope of the safari activities, but Peter in Kenya and Mtanaa in Tanzania were all over it and resolved our issues which would have otherwise been difficult for us to overcome.
I am a retired US Navy Master Chief and I recognize outstanding attention to detail when I see it…I couldn’t imagine doing this again without TS!.

From the minute we landed in Tanzania to the minute we left, the Tanzania Safaris team provided superior service, and an attention to detail that I've never seen in all my years of traveling. They tweaked our agenda each day to make sure that everyone in our group was having the best time. The little surprises they provide each night, the amazing sunset cocktail party on the savannah, the picnics in Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti -- everything was top shelf. The lodges we stayed in were fabulous, from the Neptune Luxury Lodge located on a hillside near the Ngorongoro Crater, to the Serengeti Migration Camp right next to a hippo pool. Our safari guide, Peter, was wonderful -- so passionate about his beautiful country and so knowledgeable. He took extra effort every day to make our adventure absolutely wonderful. It was a trip of two halves really. We loved Nomad’s Kigelia, great authentic camp, excellent staff and food, exceptional guiding. We like Nomads philosophy too. Star gazing tents an asset. Wildlife and landscape good. Couldn’t have been happier.

However Ubuntu, despite being a very good camp, didn’t fulfill my needs. Although the wildlife viewings were good, the guides don’t really listen to what you want to see, in my case elephants and landscape, despite it being written in my details. The camp itself is good and the staff and food.

Tanzania Safaris delivered on everything else and all our connections went smoothly, thank you Brian.

I love Tanzania and I’m sure I’ll be back, maybe next time I will get the landscape shots in the Serengeti that I am after…. Fingers crossed.
