Experience the Enchantment of Ngorongoro Tented Camp
Nestled within a serene ancient acacia forest near the edge of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, Lemala Ngorongoro offers a truly intimate safari experience. With its convenient location along the tranquil Lemala access road on the eastern side of the crater, guests can easily and quickly reach the crater floor in the morning - giving them a head start over those using the busier Seneto access road on the western rim. This also allows for a longer and more immersive wildlife experience, as animals are most active in the early mornings and late afternoons.
At Lemala Ngorongoro, game drives can begin as early as 6:15am, ensuring optimal lighting conditions for avid photographers. Within just 10-15 minutes, guests can find themselves amidst the abundant wildlife of Ngorongoro. For those seeking a more hands-on safari experience, escorted walks with an armed ranger and Maasai guide are also available through the forest and along the crater rim. Discover the magic of Ngorongoro Tented Camp at Lemala Ngorongoro.
